Discover my story and passion

ABOUT ME

I am a passionate and experienced surf instructor with a background in biology and Italian nationality. I have been living in Costa Rica for several years and have fully embraced the "pura vida" lifestyle. My story with Costa Rica began with a volunteer work with sea turtles, which allowed me to gain great experience and knowledge about the entire process these amazing creatures go through from birth. Additionally, I have worked in a production laboratory of spotted snapper, which has allowed me to acquire valuable experience in working with fish and handling an aquatic environment. My passion is to teach people to connect with the ocean through surfing and I have been giving classes and training surfers of all levels for several years. My love for surfing and the ocean is what led me to become an instructor and motivates me to continue teaching every day. I love to see my students progress and develop a connection with the ocean while learning to ride the waves. I enjoy working with foreigners and feel very comfortable teaching in a multicultural environment, but above all, I am proud to be able to transmit my love and knowledge for the ocean through surfing. My goal is to make sure that each of my students has a safe and exciting experience while learning to ride the waves. My love for the ocean and my experience in biology allow me to give a unique and enriching perspective to my surf classes.

TESTIMONIALS

Eddy and Surf School San Miguel have surf lessons perfected. Eddy and all instructors have years of experience training new surfers and did the same with my friends and myself. Not to mention the perfect location of Playa San Miguel. Quiet and empty with incredibly fun waves and the best sunset surf sessions you will ever have. Cannot wait for a reason to return.

Our whole family enjoyed the first surflessons with Eddy and his Friends. They were all very supporting, helpful and funny, especially with our boys (6 & 8 years old). We had a great time!
